Florida sheriff says deputies will kill protesters who break the law during 'No Kings Day'

A sheriff in Florida threatened his community on Thursday, stating that if any protesters get violent or break the law, they will be killed.

"We will kill you graveyard dead," said Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey during an "anti-riot" press conference alongside Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier.

"No Kings" protests have been planned across the country for June 14, coinciding with a military parade scheduled in Washington to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. It's also President Donald Trump's birthday.

"Peaceful protests are part of our democracy," said Ivey. "The key word in that is 'peaceful.'"

I'm one of those weirdos who likes the Humidity.. We all had a wonderful day on a Beach there(sorry I can't remember the name).

I can totally see how living best lives in Florida happens.

in 1916! We had two family reunions there among his siblings (there were six kids, orphaned) in the 1960s. It seemed like a magical place to me at the time, but even then, Dad said it used to be altogether different since it was mostly beaches and orchard groves when he grew up there.
