There are no checks and balances. Aside from the millions of us who took to the streets to protest him during the No Kings rallies, our "leaders" seem to be inept or complicit. Our country is being killed day by day.

Perhaps the powers that be should consider annexing Sweden,Stockholm in particular.

I am one of probably six million people who speak Swedish and whatever your message is-It went right past me and I lived in Stockholm for 20 years!

where the volunteers would be induced into a coma for three years, and brought back prior to the next presidential election, they would have to select volunteers through lotto because there would be so many of us.

It'd be a Rick Grimes moment for sure, but that's probably not what you're looking for.

it is going to continue on this way, possibly getting worse since it seems he's all hot to get into a war if that Nobel Peace Prize committee doesn't hurry up and give him one.

Remember,, he's already lost almost 25% of the self identified MAGAts. He loses much more of them, he's going to be in some real trouble. He's going to be in a lot of physical danger from the disillusioned, violent far right.

That's really the key, right there, that due process will be given a chance when he can't be protected any longer. Or when things likeducking out of the G7 because he's too demented to give short, perfunctory speeches becomes so problematic that the US gets disinvited pending a change in leadership.

All I can say is pace yourself on news, take time out from it any way you can, stay peaceful even as you stand up for your rights and the rights of others, and let them eat their own. They will, you know. They always do.

Even Koreans only give you 16 episodes. We’ve lived through Nazi salutes, kooky nominees, whacky tariffs, cruel attacks and kidnappings, creepy assaults on universities, corrupt extortion of legal firms, open bribery from foreign countries, insults and threats against former allies, etc. etc. etc.

Just at the moment, Trump is building phony reality TV suspense around a decision to attack another country and join another forever war. Even MAGA is growing tired of this.
