At least anything like what Trump is claiming. The Iranians had days to evacuate these bases along with whatever equipment and enriched Uranium they may have had there.
The only thing Trump achieved is violating the constitution (of course he does that every day after breakfast), likely inflaming the price of oil, making it more likely that we will be targeted by terrorism and further deteriorate our standing in the world.
If the ayatollahs regime falls, the region will be in total chaos for decades like we saw in irak, yemen, Afghanistan, etc. We don't have an answer to that.
As far as potential terrorist attacks on our soil, it won't require hijacking planes like 911. Nowadays, a few people can use a commercial drone bought on amazon, strap it with explosives and blow-up buildings, people and so on. The Ukrainians have shown that it is a very successful tactic that is easy to implement.

(8,589 posts)Probably even Iran because I do not think we destroyed their capabilities. They had plenty of time to evacuate their equipment and assets.

(54,293 posts)TSF did this for more than Israel and its hysterical Prime Minister.
It was done because almost 50 years ago, the Shah was exiled, the American Embassy was conquered, and a new Islamic regime was installed.
The CIA removed a democratically elected Iranian leader in the Fifties and installed an American puppet, the Shah.
TSF did this to for revenge and the fledgling hope of controlling the country again.
