Tulsi Gabbard is a mystery to me.

I never know where she stands, but it doesn't seem to be on solid ground.

she is ideologically sympathetic toward Russia and Syria. Until now, she's been consistently anti-interventionist. Her recent180 turn on bombing Iraq probably resulted from Trump ignoring her statement that Iran was not close to developing a nuclear weapon - which is probably the truth, or close to it - but her job was obviously more important than reasonable reliance on the intelligence information to which she has access.

that Iran was close to building a nuclear weapon; she might have been left out of today's bombing decision.

And I still think she wants to be president.

I think she was right and he didn't want to hear it. He's not going to listen to a woman.

She made the unthinkable mistake of telling Krasnov the truth instead of what he wanted to hear. Iran was not on the brink of a deliverable nuclear weapon.

She is an odd one with a very sketchy history. I have a feeling she won't be part of the Trump administration for long.

Maybe she can join forces with Jill Stein as a running mate in 2028. Putin would be thrilled.

If she was so wrong as Trump has said, to publicly testify that Iran was not pursuing nuclear weapons as recently as 3 months ago. To now when we had to attack right now or they might’ve sent a nuke into Israel within weeks, I don’t know how you can possibly keep her on board with any confidence. I’m not saying she was wrong at the time. But if that’s the argument how can she be trusted with anything?

…Tulsi’s dad’s American version of Hinduism. But no matter — this is America, where people believe all kinds of unorthodox things.

In any case, he had political power in mind, not just spiritual enlightenment. I believe he has run for office in Hawai’i and won, just as she did, tho she did it first — as planned.

Imagine the joy the home-group must have felt when she ran for POTUS and achieved a fan-base. There were even an enthusiastic bunch of DUers who thought Tulsi was the coming thing.

In the arguments over Hillary Clinton’s suitability for POTUS, I think most people in general brushed off Hillary’s very acute observation about Tulsi’s affinity for Putin & vice versa — but it is in memory of that event that I, among others, call her Tulski.

But that is where she is grounded.

IWhat is up with you and giving Republucans the benefit of the doubt, hmm?

Gabbard resigned """so she could support Sanders in a primary,""" but she won't resign because the president she works for just started another one of her hated forever wars?

Give me a break.

I think she spouted Putin talking points. With Iran fighting Israel, Putin gets less arms to fight Ukraine.

Trump took Bibi's side here, which is the same side all of the evangelicals take: more war. The evangelical end times cult is well represented in Trump's White House, as is Bibi's "I need a war to stay in power".

I just wonder if Trump gets any boost in poll numbers from this....
