I just filled up my gas tank

Gas is presently at $2.97 a gallon near me. I filled ‘er up just in case Iran plays havoc with the Straight of Hormuz.

Vote with your dollars, and "it will get more expensive" is the way to bet.

I have an e-bike myself, but higher gas prices mean food prices go up.

It shows $2.91.9/gallon today, let's see what it is Tuesday morning.

I use the loves app to get ten cents a gallon off gas, so it would be $281.9/gallon.

Look it up, it's free, and no, I have no connection to Loves!

I immediately texted my brother's and sisters, to tank up their cars, because I'm predicting a 20¢ increase over night. Then I immediately went to the nearest CostCo and tanked up @ 4.799/gal. for premium.

This morning the same CostCo had Premium @ 4.899/gal.

So it increased by only 10¢

Given Iran's been attacked for over a week counting Israeli strikes now. Gas in my area has only gone up about 15-20 cents over that time.

Funny, I remember seeing gas jump 25 cents overnight if there was even a chance that a hurricane was going through the gulf. Seems to me that those folks who set gas prices yield a lot of deference when a Republican is in the White House versus a Democrat. Or am I imagining this?
