Looks like Iran was given a heads up

https://www.newsweek.com/iran-nuclear-strikes-us-donald-trump-fordow-satellite-imagery-unusual-activity-2088918

Satellite imagery captured ahead of U.S. strikes on three major Iranian nuclear sites showed "unusual" movement around the entrance to Iran's Fordow enrichment facility.

Pictures taken on Thursday and Friday showed "unusual truck and vehicular activity" close to the entrance of the underground Fordow complex south of Tehran, satellite imagery firm Maxar said late on Saturday.

My money is on Russia. It is likely they have infiltrated the top layers of the admin and certainly several Republican representatives and senators, who were given advanced notice of the strike.

Iran Says Nuclear Sites Evacuated Before US Strikes

Iran Says Nuclear Sites Evacuated Before US Strikes

"The Iranian nuclear sites that President Donald Trump says were struck by the United States were reportedly evacuated ahead of the strikes, Iran's semi-official Mehr News Agency reported.

"IRIB's political deputy says that Iran had evacuated the three nuclear sites some while ago," Mehr reported.

Trump said in a post on Truth Social Saturday that the U.S. had struck Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan.

"We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space," Trump said, adding, "A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow."

Putin told Iran.....nuclear uranium stuff moved... Putin gains distraction time from global attention and support for Ukraine.

Other countries like russia who have lots of nuclear weapons etc will give it to Iran...for a price....

Now, Iran will make a deal...tRump needs a deal..... It's so hard to even type/ talk about this obnoxious US regime.

There will be some level of retaliation but a deal will surface...

I want the truth to rise to the top this time, quickly.... we all are being played.

It wouldn’t have been difficult for the Iranian government to figure out what would be likely targets in the event of an attack. trump’s and Bibi’s saber rattling was certainly enough to give them ample warning.

Mon Jun 23, 2025, 01:21 AM
Jun 2025

They were apparently the first to be informed, but not prior to the strike. The article acknowledged reports to the contrary, but said they were both premature and in error.

If I had to guess the identity of anyone giving the Iranians advance notice, I would suspect either someone in the Defense Department or one of our “intelligence” services. Since we weren’t going to initiate a land invasion, we did not want to risk setting off some kind of Chernobyl contamination of a wide expanse of Iranian territory. The idea was to send a message, not render a third of their country uninhabitable. Now the Republicans can all strut around, proclaiming “Mission Accomplished,” which will fly only as long as it is understood that many of our people have wildly differing understandings of just what the real mission was.

to me as to the question of Who Benefits ?

Certainly Netanyahu benefits, but I think it would take more than that for Trump.

My suspicion is that if the Iranians start screwing around with all that gulf oil, it's going to push the price back up, and Russia benefits hugely, as they were looking to be in serious trouble.

There doesn't appear to be any other major beneficiary from this stupid act.

If this turns out to indeed have been more for show than anything else, and Iran suffered no truly crippling damage, the Israelis, many if whom are hardened cynics at this point, will figure that the whole exercise was more for Trump’s entertainment than anything else. Maybe to make up for a parade that was such a sham that even Trump was able to figure it out.
