the confluence of events.

it's not the much "4th demential" chess, that people like to bandy about, when someone, something see things ahead.

no. most of the time, it's monied interests trying to figure out how to maximize profit. aka greed. And it's usually at the cost of human beings lives.

so what are we seeing here?

the slow and deliberate destruction of social safety nets and the mass deportation of immigrants that pretty much make society work.

Immigrants do all the work that no "citizen" of a USA country wants to do.

But what is happening now? what is the reasoning?

you remove social safety nets, you remove the immigrants, to serve what purpose? Greed always finds a way or a reason or, most of the time, no reason at all.

if you have noticed the sometimes not so subtle and sometimes very subtle messaging from the right wing: those who are on medicare need to work for it.

Or the other creeping issue: children being put back to work.

You hear from one corner of the right wing universes the tired proclamation, "I worked as a kid!!!". But when you take a closer look, is most of these right wing types really didn't have to work as a kid. They were doing extra work for spending money, While they were living a very comfortable middle class life.

Very rare is the actual "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" type of republican found in the wild.

They like to shout these euphemisms to try and give them "street cred" while at the same time, stroke their ego, "look at me! I'm a senator! I did this and that as a kid and I made it!!". it's generally complete and utter horseshit.

This is the new narrative that will be pushed hard in the coming months as the safety nets are gone and the people who pick our food, clean our houses, mow our lawns, and do all the hard back breaking jobs that we forget about as background sounds; are gone.

And those hard to fill jobs? they will be replaced by former Medicare recipients, the aged and children.

the middle class will be hollowed out via a AI utopia that will be pushed hard by the delusional technocrat billionaire bros (who also like to claim they "pulled themselves up by the bootstraps" with the help of their families enormous investment it their businesses.

And what will be left?
