Why is Lawrence O'Donnell the only one calling out the WH Press Corps?

I am glad to see that there are a couple of threads about his show last night which was epic. He has no more ^%%$## to give about covering the disgraceful abdication of duty that the WHPC is engaging in. He actually called them the "stupidest press corps" covering the "stupidest President."

I think he is becoming more strident in his criticism because no one else in the corporate media is raising the alarm. Even good liberals like Rachel, Chris and others are silent on this particular issue. But it is too important to ignore. Our democracy depends on an adversarial media.

Look, I get it. It is extremely difficult to call out your peers. That's why what he is doing is courageous. We should reward him by making his show the highest rated show on MSNBC!

He's like a voice in the wilderness on this topic. His show never follows the corporate news narrative, but approaches topics from an original angle.

Lawrence has the perfect platform to call the orange shitgibbon stupid and he does so Relentlessly for the full 20 minutes.

I smile for 20 minutes…it’s cathartic.

Then he tracks the good stuff after while still getting in a bunch of “only the stupidest person in the world would…” add whatever stupid thing he did.

It’s my happy place for a short time.

but what Lawrence is doing requires a special kind of courage. I think the fact that no one else in cable is doing it demonstrates just how difficult it is.
