(8,746 posts)way or another. Yet each utterance deserves straight-faced analysis and discussion on MSM...no mention of past insane unethical stances or pattern of behavior.
It's time the benefit of the doubt doesn't automatically go to the con man?
I've heard analysis this morning that he can't go after Obama because immunity...didn't hear about how unprecedented and dangerous and insane and unhinged this approach is from potus, dni, doj to even consider this and announce out loud.
Saw yesterday on another post paraphrased: if this kind of thing isn't called dangerous, pretty soon it will be dangerous NOT to support this kind of thing.

to Canadian PM Carney who just held a press conference in which he switched back and forth between fluent English and fluent French, taking questions about the meeting he just had with Canadian premiers.

Nothing about the insane ramblings. NOTHING. Just an excuse as to the why he's saying such insane garbage. Sane washing poor Donald.

(24,668 posts)Kristin Holmes is one of the worst. She's especially noteworthy because it is her "beat" to cover the WH. She constantly sanewashes. This is why I think they need to start showing his insane posts on social media and discussing them. These glib retellings of what he is saying and doing are not illuminating to the public.

(78,911 posts)This is the pathological lying that not only was to be expected, but the exact type that worked with his cult for many years. It is not a symptom of mental illness ..... rather, it is a feature of this personality pathology. The interesting thing is that some of the cult's outside layers are peeling off.

(6,657 posts)I dunno if he makes it out of this one, it's all looking pretty grim and the republics are having a harder time than they thought staying on message... let alone agreeing on one.
He's put lipstick on his pigs before and sold them as successes, but I just dunno about this one.

"These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction," the statement said.
Trump's comments come after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard submitted a criminal referral to the Department of Justice threatening the Obama administration.
Obama's spokesperson said that "nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes."
"These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intellignce Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio," the Obama spokesperson said on Tuesday.
