My Doctors scale says 197.

When will they fix that?

Are often wrong, because they are supposed to be recalibrated regularly, but often are not.

Their height measurements are sometimes inaccurate too—a few years ago one doc’s staff told me I had lost nearly 1.5 inches in height. I was alarmed because it could indicate some bad health conditions, but at a different office all was fine. When I went back to the first, several months later, I was “back to my normal” height and they said nonchalantly, “oh yeah—we had a problem with that.”

I didn't fire mine, but I did reduce its workforce drastically.


Turns out when you remove vital parts from the damn thing it doesn't work so well.

Try using lower voltage to get smaller numbers.

Your scale is giving your weight in Fahrenheit. Convert to Celsius. 275 is really 135
