I suppose that means TSF will also be taking over the municipal government as well as the municipal courts. Think of it this way: If you want to build or renovate your home in D.C., TSF will expect something in return for your zoning approval.

The District is a whopping 61 square miles of land area (67 sq miles if you include the Potomac and Anacostia rivers). If he activates 1,000 troops, the city will really be a military occupation.

August is a big tourist month, a last vacation before school starts. Nothing like threading your family through a phalanx of soldiers to visit the Constitution and all the museums.

Maybe, somewhere in the back of his head, he thinks he might provoke non-Magas, or even the Magas, to repeat a January 6th Insurrection. But this time, he'll be the target. So it's a protective move.

I believe this may be a trial run for a much larger city. There is not much stopping him here since DC is under federal jurisdiction. I think his next target may be New York, especially if Mamdani wins.

Congress has ultimate authority over DC, but we know this current sham of a Congress is more than happy to let Trump ride into town and take over. In fact, T47 doesn’t even have to “ride into town”. He’s already there, walking around on the roof of OUR White House, like coeds do during parties at frat houses.
