Maybe my logic is off

but this is the way I see it:

The number two guy heads to the courthouse to interview Maxwell (first concession, and he doesn't have to go through the prison routine.) All the experts say that this is highly unusual, just not done at all. But, the pres' former attorney, who is familiar with all the dirt, goes there.

They do the interview. SHE has leverage. The interview is about what SHE has against Trump. She's got the goods. If she didn't have leverage, she wouldn't have gotten what she got. It didn't cost the gov. all that much to get her to keep her mouth shut. The point is, without knowing what she said, we still can assume that she has damaging evidence because otherwise she wouldn't have gotten the first thing long time prisoners demand when they can: better digs.

And, they broke the rules to move her to the country club. That had to be on the direct order of Blanche or Trump, and the BOP had to obey. So, that's not a mystery.

Skipping over the fact that she is a vile and disgusting destroyer of children, I don't blame her for this manipulation. She should die in prison, and the country club is way better than where she was sitting. She is still probably going to be offed somehow at some point, and the next part of the gambit will have her being sprung. At that point she will truly start to sweat. If she has hidden leverage, the kind that will be released if she shows up dead somehow, then that's her best bet.

My guess is that she has tapes of at least one performance. The kind that would cause Epstein to be offed in prison. Something so vile that it will not only destroy trump's regime, but place him in the category of Maxwell. Blanche's job probably required him to ascertain the location of those tapes, and who else knows about them, because obviously there has to be yet more witnesses.

What was in the files she had with her when she first returned to prison after the interview? That was a lot of material.

The fact that they are not releasing the tapes is one thing. Anything can be faked, and OF COURSE those that favor trump and are not in the know are saying that it's a nothing hamberder. It would be by now. But, it's the missing information that tells the tale.

You can't prove a negative. No matter what you think, it ordinarily would be enough to just state, See? I told you there was nothing there. But, Blanche got something from Maxwell, and that is the only reason that 1) he personally was trusted to be the one who did the interview, and 2) she has some tangible evidence on trump. Perhaps just her testimony would have been enough.

It's possible that trump will use his influence to force the Appellates to release her. Meanwhile, she's in the country club.

Trump can't operate without people backing him up. He's only one man. Without the military, and without his flunkies, he can't maintain his dictatorship. So, any bad news brought by Maxwell will endanger this balance. It might be the only thing that would persuade his fanbase to abandon him.

The thought of trump raping a little kid is disgusting. This is what he really is, a rapist. A mean, vile woman-hating rapist. The kind that might lose his power if it ever came to light.

And if I were her - she better have a trip switch in case she dies. She's a nasty vile little monster . . . if she goes out - she'll go out taking others down.

She is still probably going to be offed somehow at some point, and the next part of the gambit will have her being sprung. At that point she will truly start to sweat. If she has hidden leverage, the kind that will be released if she shows up dead somehow, then that's her best bet.
