But could be Poe.

Poe's Law is an internet adage stating that, without a clear indicator of the author's intent, it's difficult or impossible to distinguish between an expression of genuine extremism and a parody of it.

Godwin

Godwin's Law, also known as Godwin's Law of Nazi Analogies, is an Internet adage that states that as an online discussion lengthens, the probability of a comparison to Nazis or Hitler approaches one. In simpler terms, as online arguments drag on, someone will eventually bring up Hitler or Nazis.

Note: the author of Godwin said his rule doesn’t apply and it’s ok to call these Nazis Nazis

Godwin believes the ubiquity of such comparisons trivializes the Holocaust, which he finds regrettable.[37][38] He has since made it clear that, in his opinion, the alt-right, especially the participants in the 2017 Charlottesville Unite the Right rally, deserve comparisons to the Nazis.[39][40] He has also stated in the press several times, from 2015 to 2023, that informed comparison of U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump to Hitler could be valid.[41][42][43][44]

had she had better judgement on how to put that talent to work, she would be considered the first great female film maker. She was an Oscar caliber director all the more remarkable given that it wasn't until 2010 that a female won best director.

They should make a new one for people who misquote Godwin’s.
