(26,854 posts)Theres a weird sort of irony about an OP decrying the lack of attention to an assassinated Democratic lawmaker and then sharing a photo that isnt her.

(71 posts)I googled Melissa Hortman and that pic that was posted was in the top 5 so I can understand posting it.
Occupy Democrats used that very image:

(9 posts)Killing Charlie Kirk was horrible. Nobody deserves murder for their political beliefs or Constitutional rights to free speech. I wish condolences to Mr. Kirks family and friends.
Republicans did violence and murder too.
Earlier this year, a Christian pastor and strong Republican, Vance Tuson, killed Minnesota Democratic state Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark Hortman, were fatally shot.
Former Republican New Mexico state candidate Solomon Peña was sentenced to 960 months in prison for hiring hitmen to murder his political opponents and those did not support Donald Trump. He spent prison time for robbery before being to the New Mexico State government.
The people who tried to murder Trump were Republicans who supported him. They were angry at his policies and offensive personality.
Five people died in the capitol riot when Trumps angry supporters attacked our national capitol building. Trump and his followers showed no remorse. Republicans in congress refused to let the Capitol Police put up a memorial plaque honoring the people who died in the violence.

The violent death of one of their guys, well, a national tragedy!
How does it feel to live in an insane country with an insane leader and millions of insane followers?
