The major media landscape wasn’t great before the Trump 47, but it’s going to look positively dystopic afterwards.

... should be their alternate name. They are not a 24/7 all-news network and air a lot of reruns and pre-taped segments. During those times, I think MS NOW is not an appropriate name. Then, MS THEN should be used!

MSNBC had no choice to change when it was divested from NBC. I do regret the separation because there are certainly advantages to being connected to a legacy network with all their resources. But this is the reality and it was not of their choosing. The network, now MSNOW, has been working to develop their own reporters and are really building up Carol Leonnig and Ken Delanian who have already broken a lot of stories, beating out CNN and the NYT. They are doing their best and I'm willing to give them a chance.
