On "THAT DAY" and "THAT HEADLINE," I'm posting Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dancing videos all day long

I don't know if we will WAKE UP to the good news or if it will happen while we're going about our everyday activities.

But when I see THAT HEADLINE, I'm going to go the NON-VERBAL POSTING ROUTE.

LOTS of CLIPS of Fred & Ginger.

DANCING.

And I will be dancing along with them.

Well, maybe hammered isn't quite the word; a champagne-drunk is one of the more pleasant ways of being intoxicated. But we're going all-in on the celebrating.

Even if TSF kicks the bucket before then, Repugs will still be in control of the White House (and TSF's potential replacements are WORSE in many ways).

But on that date, they will ALL be gone.

Plus they affect us emotionally in a good way.

Gene Kelly was a masterful and very disciplined choreographer. It is so apparent in all his dance sequences. When my twin grandsons were as young as one or two years old, I used to play that scene for them and they loved it. Of course, they liked all the song and dance routines, but that was their favorite and they frequently would imitate it with their little umbrellas.

I don't think we ever danced together though (me and her niece) but we were in some theatre and choral music productions together. I also took voice lessons from her mom, nice people. As a vocal exercise her mom made me lay flat on the floor in her studio and said loudly "use it" talking about breathing and vocalizing together or something. Not sure I ever figured that out...funny though.
