I would boil the Boat Strikes down to this one point:

Since when is it OK to execute "Suspects?"

We have not seen any proof that any of these boats were smuggling drugs.

and we had the iron clad proof... since when was drug smuggling a capital crime?

Can someone point to the law that says "if convicted by a jury the judge can impose the death penalty..."

BTW, this isn't about drugs... since Trump has been President he has pardoned TWO convicted massive drug smugglers ( actual cartel like kingpins of the drug world ).

Blowing boats and humans to pieces does not net any suspects higher up in the smuggling rings. Perhaps that is part of the point, Trump/Hegseth might be protecting the top level drug kingpins.

because the people in those boats are not taking drugs to the US. Boats that size will not hold enough fuel to get them from Venezuela to the US. It's over 1000 miles.

Not to mention that Fentanyl doesn't come from Venezuela. It comes from Mexico.

So much is wrong with their claim that the premise is just impossible. My guess is that the boats are fishing boats. There's actually some evidence for that. The family of one of the casualties has initiated a wrongful death suit and state that the dude was fishing, as he often did, for marlin and/or tuna.

Trump: We don't want to be the policemen of the world BY BRETT SAMUELS - 04/30/18

https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=20729427

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/385521-trump-we-dont-want-to-be-the-policemen-of-the-world/

President Trump on Monday said the U.S. should no longer serve as the “policemen of the world.”

“We more and more are not wanting to be the policemen of the world,” Trump said during a joint press conference with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari.

“We’re spending tremendous amounts of money for decades policing the world, and that shouldn’t be the priority,” he said.

Trump ran on the promise that he would extricate the U.S. from foreign wars.

NOW, WAR IS NEEDED TO TRY TO COVER UP HIS UTTER DEPRAVITY.

This is the construction of the classic slippery-slope used by all dictators: find a group to easily marginalize and begin killing them. Once you see that you can get away with that you can move on to other less-marginalized groups.

It is not hard to see or understand--but it is painful to admit to ourselves. There are a lot of Americans that want to see us and our children dead--and our possessions taken and distributed among themselves. This is how they start achieving that goal.

Volume 1 of Mein Kampf was published in 1925 and Volume 2 in 1926--almost exactly 100 years ago.

100 years is apparently how long it takes to forget....

Shame Chinese 'exceptionalism' wanting to take Taiwan back into the fold, and Ukraine 'exceptionalism' about keeping its borders intact, also exist.

Trump just hates everyone and wants to just destroy things?

Lots of scary parallels there.

Trump has declared himself to be President of Europe so I'm told, maybe he is aiming for President of the World?
