CNN Data Guru Reveals Trump's Stunning Loss of Key Demographic

CNN Data Guru Reveals Trump’s Stunning Loss of Key Demographic
YUGE
One generation in particular represented Trump’s biggest gains in 2024 and his biggest loss in approval since the start of his second term.

Donald Trump is hemorrhaging support from a key demographic that helped power his 2024 comeback, according to CNN’s chief data analyst.

Among 18-to-29-year-olds, Trump’s net approval rating has fallen an unprecedented 56 points in less than a year, from +10 in February to -46 now, Harry Enten told Erin Burnett Thursday on OutFront, citing a CBS News/YouGov poll.

“This type of drop happening so quickly—you just don’t see drops like that. It’s stunning!” he said. “I think the word of the day, to borrow a phrase from the current president—yuge, yuge.”

The next three and something years are going to cost you dearly, now and for decades to come. You voted for a liar and other liars and took that liar's words as truth, and now you've found out that liars can do to you what they want.

It takes two people to run a con: the scammer and YOU! Wise up! Don't get played again! Don't believe BS artists!

Many right-wing politically-active whites have a paradigm for Latinos best described as “temporary white people.” Let me describe it: Latinos are welcomed and are allowed to think themselves possessed of the same status and privileges as Euro-American possess in times of crisis, but afterwards get crammed back into their second-class status after the right-wing whites think that whatever crisis has passed.

This trend was in place in the 40’s and 50’s when Latino troops weren’t crammed into segregated units like they might have been during World War One.

More recently, right-wing politicians in Texas and other states welcome socially-conservative Latino voters into the Republican Party when their votes are needed, then stiff them after elections when budgets are cut, anti-DEI campaigns are launched, and many native-born Latinos find themselves being harassed by the ICE and other agencies after they Republican/Conservative (reactionary) party gets a solid lock on the state and federal government. Texas is but one example: so are Oklahoma, Florida, and other red states where Latinos have a significant presence. The Trump administration is an example on the national scale.

White Women. Who should know better at least for Choice!

I think you'd also have to get really granular. Just where were these Hispanics and Latinos, and was it more Black men by a bit than previously voting.

BC, imho, a few tipping the "right" (but wrong for us) precincts, counties etc would add up to a State going for drumphf. And how many States would be in play re their Hispanic, and Latino populations?

Oh, and another FU, to rhe Electoral College!

If they don't put the ACA subsidies back in, the people whose costs rise astronomically will kill them at the polls and the blue wave will swamp them next Nov.

We had a far younger candidate and a platform that addressed the issues that demographic said they cared about - the environment, abortion, student loan forgiveness, health care, just to name a few. It's absolutely bizarre.

It's more work because they have to actually think and evaluate, not just react like it's a social media app. Some of the policies to fix their problems take time and require commitment, again not something they want to accept.

They saw the disaster of his first term.

Now they are disappointed by Trump being exactly the same as he always was. My advice to young people - pay attention to what is happening in government and remember it. Any "punditry" you follow has an agenda and is trying to win your vote. If you rely on your own eyes and mind, you'll be fine and will probably not regret your vote.

A bunch of moronic podcasters convinced a lot of young (mostly men) that Trump wasn't a conartist, rapist, pedophile, criminal, but it turns out that he was. Oops.

Don't get your information from hack comedians and TicToc. The good news is, this demographic appears to be quick learners which says more than older white males who appear to enjoy hammering their own nuts every four years.
