Donald Trump has been trying to turn CNN into a MAGA operation since his first administration.

The fact that Trump has his eyes on CNN demonstrates both his outdated approach to media and his constant desire to control every major media company and turn it into a propaganda outlet.

After Trump’s allies, the Ellison brothers, took over CBS through an acquisition of Paramount, the president had been pushing for the Ellisons to get their hands on CNN.

However, Warner Bros. Discovery agreed to terms with Netflix for a partial deal that did not include CNN and the other cable networks.

But anything is possible. Probably a lot to handle two separate possibly contentious sales at a time. Get one under their belt and build up the other in the meantime, sell it for even more in the future. Their concern won't be what the new owner does with it, just the bottom line.

couldn't Ellison just offer to buy it separately now? I don't think the Netflix deal alone ends the possibility. I do enjoy watching Kaitlan Collins pieces on-line and Dr. Sanjay Gupta's newsletter, where he has actually warned that you can no longer count on federal sites health information on things such as vaccines. He said most of the material on those sites now are either out right lies, or yet to be scientifically proven. I agree a lot of the other anchors have gone Maga, but at least those two haven't.

If Ellis buys CNN, he will probably, fire them both.

Reed Hastings, Netflix founder, is as progressive a billionaire CEO as you’ll find. What we need is a guy like him to buy CNN and turn it radically to the left. MSNBC proves a market for this kind of content. The right wing media space is crowded with players. The left is an underdeveloped market with growth potential.

About this Netflix deal. Does she not realize if this doesn't go through, CNN will be owned by Ellison and turned into MAGA central? Why is she trying to deep six this deal??
