Perhaps this is the plan:

1. All the fuckery we have endured thus far.
2. Make health care and adequate food out of reach for millions of Americans.
3. Rub it in our faces until mass rebellion starts to brew.
4. Use this to trigger the Insurrection Act.
5. Use the military and ICE to obliterate what is left of democracy and of the United States.

1. Nationwide martial law is a physical impossibility
2. Trump is not omnipotent
3. The states are not powerless
4. The people are not powerless
5. Because states run their elections, and Trump cannot cancel them, there will be a blue tsunami in November 2026.

3. That would work except it requires solid planning, coordination and trusted leaders. Trump et. al. lack all three

Trump actually could have made inroads in a number of areas if he had these capabilities within the administration.. Say if he had put forth a solid reindustrialization policy that would dovetail with a logical (ha!) tariff plan before setting off tariff turmoil to no good end. Or he was smart in studying immigration patterns and supported people coming with skill sets we need and filled the huge hiring backlogs for truckers, nurses, skilled construction trades, etc. He and the GOP have only had how long to have a viable counter plan to the ACA? His recent speech in PA where he denies, blames other for or ignores what the people can plainly see shows no sign of a man with a plan. Granted he has some capable evil minions but at the end of the day, they are just minions. And when we Dems take back Congress in 2026, all their lives will become much more complicated.

4. Trump couldn't follow a plan if it was printed on the sole of a piss filled boot.

It would be like asking a goldfish to come up with a 20 year infrastructure development program.
