Right now, Mills is in a dead heat with Collins in the polls

The primary isn’t until next June, and the candidate filing deadline isn’t until April, so there is plenty of time for the state Democratic Party to recruit a progressive, non-geriatric, pro-union senate candidate who will support killing the filibuster to expand the court.

Court expansion is required in order to restore democracy and repair the damage from the Trump era. Without neutralizing the MAGA majority on the court, any bill will be blocked by the filibuster or overturned by the Roberts court.


Remember: Republican-lite always loses to a real Republican.

Please explain.

And prevent expansion of the Supreme Court and neutralizing the MAGA majority, as well as obstructing any legislation besides a reconciliation budget bill.

As for anti-union, go ask the workers in Maine- plenty of details out there.

Any specific examples?

Just asking as I am now a Maine voter and am interested in solid examples I can look at to decide for myself. Having specific examples is necessary for me to do that. I would like to se what you think is going on with her.

As far as I can see, she's a good candidate and I am leaning toward voting for her, regardless of her age so I would like to see some cons, specific examples of negative aspects of her candidacy and potential tenure in the Senate. I don't feel comfortable about the tattoo guy.

Mills isn’t just anti-union, she’s anti-worker.

She would be an awful choice to represent Maine in the senate, as bad as Manchin, Sinema, or even Collins.

We have no idea what the Senate will be in 2029. Right now we need to worry about stopping Trump full-stop. If Mills can do it, I'm all for her.

When hopefully we will have a democratic president, one who will sign the bill expanding the court sent to him by congress in the first 100 days of the new administration.

That’s why we must require all Dem senate candidates in 2026 be anti-filibuster and pro-court expansion.

I can't speak to the reliability of either one, but the wide difference in the results over such a short period doesn't make much sense.

Remember, they can be skewed.

Mills has proven she can win statewide. Dems just need to win to get the gavel back.
