probably because my mother was the soloist who sang it in our church choir. At home she practiced it over and over. I could sing it too since I learned the words, but unfortunately I didn't inherit her beautiful voice.

The Choir Director for our Catholic Church sang this song. When the Choir chimed in, I had tears streaming down my cheeks and goosebumps. It was so beautifully done.
I am feeling the same way listening to this young man. The memory of that Mass returning.
