Susie Wiles stated something...

I was only half-listening to this, so forgive me if I'm not entirely accurate.

It was on MSNOW maybe an hour ago.

It might have been Alex Witt who was interviewing someone. She asked the person she was interviewing about Trump's treatment of women (maybe specifically women reporters?), and the gentleman she was interviewing mentioned something like "Susie Wiles stated that he does it because he's a "counter-puncher".

We have a "counter-puncher" President.

Isn't that nice?

A "man" who feels the need to "punch" women reporters who ask him simple questions.

What a fucking hero this guy is.

And for years, no one has really called him out to his face over this (to any significant degree anyway).

All of this has become normalized. Every rotten thing he does has become normalized, and what I am trying to figure out is...if stuff like this has become the norm, how does this utter garbage get reversed?

It is the "norm" now, after all.

"What has this country become" is not just an idle saying.

What HAS this country become?

I sure as hell don't know.

But I don't like it.

If anyone punched that snowflake in the face he’d fall flat on his ass. I for one would love to see it.

4. My thoughts are as follows:

If i can convey this correctly...

Everything he does is calculated. He WANTS to be viewed as a counterpuncher, and it is not a coincidence that a woman, his chief of staff, conveys him as such.

He knows his base, his audience.

There is a significant portion of society that eats up the fact that he is a counter-puncher. And a large majority of these people are men, but some women also like this.

He reinforces weak people, weak minds. He reinforces the beliefs of the absolute pricks that walk among us.

And my fear is that when he finally goes, the willingness to convey that mindset is not going to go with him. It's going to stay here. Because it is now the norm.

I think this is the most seriously terrible thing he has done to this country. He made weak people proud to be weak. To be violent.

I don't know how that gets reversed except for the passage of decades.

....his protective Mamma letting him do whatever he wants and defending him from anyone who questions it.

It's like this:

A boy hits girls (only girls) all the time at school. The mom is called in to discuss.

The mom defends the kid saying: Well, the girls were mean to him, so he hit them. She doesn't mention that the boy only hits girls and that other boys say worse things to him, and he doesn't hit them.

She is protecting him like he's five. That's why he likes her.

She's the Momma to his undeveloped, spoilt, abusive, sociopathic personality.

Of course he is. But Wiles does not portray him as such. Neither does the media.

And I guess that's my point.

By using the term 'counter-puncher'. Those reporters did nothing to him, so there was no 'countering' involved. He is simply a very nasty bully.

As far as I can tell (and I seriously doubt there was much real candor to that episode either, given the overall quality of his upbringing). Almost his whole life has been spent learning what a great ruse being male, large of body, and a bully with thin skin and a temper can be.

A serious comeuppance is many decades overdue!

... this evil bastard's clown show for more than 40 years. He has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. None. He has a certain simian cleverness when it comes to deceit and manipulation, especially of people with limited intellectual capacity, his beloved "poorly educated", but he is not intelligent in any well-rounded way, and, like every psychopath Satan ever defecated, he is devoid of empathy. In fact he ridicules those that DO have it, as does his buddy, Elon Musk, and every malicious demagogue throughout history.
Even after he leaves office, his influence with his hard-core followers will be a destructive force. With that irrefutable fact in mind, it is imperative that he be, shall we say, deconstructed... thoroughly. As thin-skinned as he is, the most effective way to take him apart will be ridicule, and he's given us plenty of ammunition for that. Think of it as a celebrity roast on steroids, but with rock-hard, indisputable FACTS.
His mother even said, "My son's an idiot, and God help us all should he ever get into politics, because he'd be a disaster." People should have listened to her. They obviously didn't. And the poisonous influence of his mentor, Roy Cohn, certainly didn't help matters. And with a rotten racist for a father, and a cowardly pimp for a grandfather, Trump was destined to be the sorry excuse for a man that he is today.
Now we have to deal with the aftermath of the disaster his mother warned us about.

10. You have to think of the source. Trump owns Wiles body and soul. Trump is scared of women, especially the accomplished.

She said he was a 'coward puncher'... as in he is a coward and will insanely lash out at anyone who calls him on it.
