1). He knows people hate it

2). He knows no one will have the spine to tear ANY of this garbage down until he's gone

3). It COSTS MONEY to build this crap, so it will COST MONEY to tear it down, unless Democrats can mobilize activists willing to do it for free

4). He's doing so much of it that it will be impossible to take it all down in one day (and he knows it)

5). He's had a boast since day one of the first term that he's "BETTER THAN WASHINGTON" and "BETTER THAN LINCOLN," but no one ever tells HIM that, so he had to prove he's better than JFK by giving him second billing on his own performing arts center

Trump's pathology IS NOT "complex" at all. It's pretty easy to see what motivates him, and the amount of disturbing thought that goes into his seemingly "impulsive" actions.
