I posted this a while back, while I was still reeling from the encounter. Well, I'm heading back to that guy's site tomorrow, likely to be there all day.

Trump is 'flawed' but anointed by GAWD to sumthin sumthin.
The ethnic cleansing in Gaza just means jeesuss will be back soon.
Tariffs are fixing everything in the economy.
RFK jr is fixing everything medical.
DEI was somehow evil and elementary schools are switching everyone's genders
Etc, etc.

Last time, he was at my elbow for the entire service call, spewing Qanon doctrine nonstop.

He kept trying to show me YT vids that were pulled "for exposing the truth."

Truly he was relentless, but the two points that really stuck out for me:

1. Hillary and Obama literally eat literal babies in the tunnels under Epstein island
2. Trump is literally a holy warrior sent by God to defend against this evil

My boss is very cool 99% of the time, but if I were to explain my discomfort with this particular customer, my boss would respond with "well, he makes some good points."

One has an InfoWars bumper sticker. If you ask a logical question they pivot to another conspiracy you’ve never heard of. There strategy seems to just keep talking, not allowing any rebuttal.

and I cannot wait to hear all about it.
i gave up on my life long friend. she may be Qanon. or just an everyday magat, hard to tell. But either way she is an ignorant racist sociopathic fuckhead so that's that.

I want to know how you approach it. Will you let him spew? or beg him not to? Will you provide facts, knowing they mean absolutely nothing? Will you take care that your blood pressure is under control?

I do not envy you. But here's the burning question I fantasize asking my magat brother: Are all people human? If you get a chance, maybe you can ask him that for me and let me know the response.

“thanks for the info, I will get started now. Hope you don’t mind but I’m putting my earbuds in so I can listen to some [christmas, jazz, oldies, etc] music while I work.”

I find it hard to focus on my tasks when there are distractions, music helps.

As I reviewed the assigned job, I realized that it was calling for me to do something the the customer’s system isn’t rated to do. Without going into boring details, it means the job has to get reworked from scratch, and it’ll wind up costing significantly more than the customer is likely willing to pay.
