As one year comes to a close and a new one is on the horizon, Im reflecting on the opportunity we have in front of us for 2026 to be a year of positive and dramatic change for the country - if we stay focused.
Im looking forward to doing my part, and I know you are too.

He seems aware the job to fix what is broken is bigger than any one person in one public office can ever hope to accomplish. He looks long term. He knows what good can come from a curated team of wise, caring, honest people. He saw that up close with the team Biden built. Expanding that movement nationwide is probably the best thing Pete can do in these times.
I hope he doesn't limit himself by running for one office. We need inspiration to gather, elect, support the efforts of good movers and shakers. There's too much work to be done to hang it all on one really good man.

(37,240 posts)The first gay President, James Buchanan, was a disaster, but has recently be rescued from the title of worst President ever by the Orange Pedophile.
It has generally been the good fortune of the United States to follow a disastrous Presidency with a good or great one; Buchanan was followed by Lincoln.
It would be nice, in my view, to have a great gay President follow our new worst President, our first pedophilic President, hopefully the last.
Maybe it's a pipe dream, but I'm in for Pete for President.
