Why Jack Smith was subpoenaed to appear before Jim Jordan's Committee?

It was the last thing that Jim Jordan wanted. He did not want to be exposed anymore than he already is.

But, the guy in the White House hates Jack Smith. He wants revenge on him more than anyone else, including Jim Comey or former CIA Director John Brennan.

Jordan's orders were to subpoena Jack Smith and if he failed to show up, Pam Bondi would indict him for contempt of Congress.

And if he did show up, their orders were to pick him apart. Tear all the meat from his bones. Ask conspiratorial questions and get the names of everyone that helped Smith in his investigation. Attack his methods and his reputation. Destroy him.

But something funny happened on the way to the circus. Jack Smith immediately picked their arguments apart. They became frustrated and fearful in their questioning. They had nothing else with which to defend their Leader. He was exposed by the truth from Jack Smith.

What next? Their vindictive strategy against Jack Smith has failed miserably. For one brief moment, the truth was victorious over their Big Lie.

2. It happened because the MAGA base and delusional Trump demanded it.

The base is manipulated by the right-wing media for ratings and money. Trump is a delusional narcissist. The Republican leaders in the House knew it was not going to be good, which is why they did it in private and then released it over the holiday weekend.

...then they may have released it at a different time? But they scored no points. So they released it when they thought no one would see it and no one would read it. They are manipulative bastards.

4. And they're not smart enough to realize that was a mistake

Trump is an increasingly demented malignant narcissist whose thirst for revenge overrides any critical thought that might advise against giving Jack Smith an opportunity to testify.

The Felon may or may not believe his own lies, but his moronic base still does -- even though others who voted for him are beginning to realize their own mistake.

All the nice things traitors do when they don’t have the law, the facts, or brains to overturn reality: Trump is a traitor.

Everyone's been paying attention to Jack Smith and they still won't stop talking about that damn Epstein, so let's start a war. Maybe that will do it.
