So what will be the justification for kidnapping Maduro's wife?

OK, Maduro has been indicted in NY according to Bondi. But what about his wife? If she hasn't also been indicted she will have to be released. And then what? Will she be deported to Somalia or let loose to lead demonstrations for her husband's release in Times Square?

No court will allow the incarceration of a person with no charges against them. I think this show trial has the potential to be a disaster for Trump. We bombed Caracas, presumably with the intent of killing Maduro. So why was he arrested rather than just executed like Bin Laden?

Remember - the Supreme Court said if the President does it, it’s not illegal.

Women make excellent hostages, as long as their people do value her life.

OTOH, I wouldn't try kidnapping Melania or Ivanka. They'd be completely useless.

Putin has been killing the wives of some of his critics.

The message to his opponents is that your family is not safe if you cross me.

This is the only reference in your source:

Sources inside the Venezuelan opposition tell Sky News they believe Nicolas Maduro's capture was a "negotiated exit".

Suuuure, Jan.

Why repeat absurd, unverified claims??

Oh and now we will all see just how "truthful" the Machado-led "opposition" really is...

I wonder about the date of that superseding indictment. Was it under Trump 2.0? Likely. Was it in the last few weeks or days? Also likely.

Do you have a source?

On edit: still nothing. So I am concluding that this is all Trump and only Trump. I wonder when exactly the Trump minions filed that superseding charge and why? Not hard to guess, really.

said that "few knew she also had a warrant for arrest" or something like that. Apparently, there was some warrant that was leveled against her in 2020 when her husband also had one.

I am looking everywhere for the link for that. gimme a minute.

NM: It was India Today. I have no idea how reliable that is, but I always wonder if it's Modi propaganda. No one else is reporting it that I can see, but AP is reporting charges have been filed against her.
