Paraphrased, but that's the gist. He loved repeating, over and over, "We're going to run the country."

At least until an acceptable puppet regime can be installed to do the bidding of the Trump thugocracy and US oil companies.

There are extensive rainforests and jungle areas in Venezuela. What happens if we get dragged into that kind of war? Is Trump going to send in his dope-ass son-in-law and Steve Witless to get us out?
