How are the Venezuelan people going to react

Are they going to sit back and let this happen or are they going to fight back?

who have already messaged me from their exile in Chile... they are very happy...

But I asked them if they would go back to Venezuela now or in the near future and they were not enthusiastic. I.E. only if Chile kicks them out.

wait and see. The reason for his dislike is mainly their economy which he fubared and the fact he pulled a tRump and ignored election results.

Turns out Maduro may have been unpopular. But that’s not the issue. The issue is if he garrisons troops there, if the country descends into chaos etc. and it becomes a malaise, then the slow grind of it could damage Trump politically like Iraq did with W. But in this initial stage with the rah rah media coverage, he’s going to get his flowers. There’s no way around that.

Remember all the staged celebrations in Iraq? This is going to be carefully propagandized.

6. A lot of Venezuelans are going to be very happy that Maduro is gone

The scenes of Venezuelans celebrating are not fake. A lot of Venezuelans hated his guts.

It remains to be seen, of course, how those Venezuelans will feel about the US running their country, US troops in their streets, and US oil companies taking their oil. They might not like that so much.

And of course, there are still plenty of Venezuelans who supported Maduro and will likely have something to say about who his successor should be.

It's probably going to be a total mess, unfortunately.

They hated Maduro. The country has become a dangerous, scratch existence for the residents. My friends were business owners making better than average money that they would have to hide and dress low end so as not to be robbed constantly.

They said they are happy right now he is gone. They don’t believe anything could be worse than what they’ve endured.
