Guess who's next 'Cuba is a failing nation and we want to help the people,' says tRump

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio made ominous remarks relating to Cuba, country of his roots and towards which regime he has a deep antipathy. The Trump administration did not say today that it will reprise its action in Venezuela in Cuba, but it didn’t say it would not, either.

Rubio said in response to the topic coming up in the press question and answer session: “I mean, I just gave you a statement a few minutes ago about, you know, when the president speaks you should take him seriously. Suffice it to say, you know, Cuba is a disaster.”

He went on: “It is run by incompetent, senile men and, in some cases, not senile, but incompetent. Nonetheless, it has no economy, it’s in total collapse…all the guards that helped protect [Venezuela’s captured leader] Maduro, their spy agency, they were all full of Cubans. This poor island took over Venezuela..”

“…So, yeah, if I lived in Havana and I was in the government I’d be concerned, at least a little bit.”

Then, kid you not, I looked up Meyer Lansky on wiki.

The USA monkeys with governments of Central and South America, favoring the rightwing over leftists irrespective of Democrats or GOP running our ship of state.

The rightwing Cubans and Venezuelans are a well-healed voting block and happy.

Look at the last 20 years of Honduras like the 2009 Zelaya coup and messing in subsequent elections.

It details Lansky’s control over Baptiste and his unconventional mob lifestyle while also portraying Castro’s continually futile efforts that left him no option but to go to Havana.

... he'll pass.

Just remember this: only Congress has the constitutional authority to declare war. The President himself has no such authority.

Is vaccine compliant, and free healthcare. They also are almost 100% literate and have free early child intervention educational programs. Why would the U.S. want any part of that hell hole socialism?

and thinking that the island Cubans will welcome them back as patriots and liberators. While I’m not thrilled to pieces by Cuba’s current regime, I suspect that the right-wing Cuban emigres vaping this fever dream are at least as likely to be remembered unfondly as the French remember the Vichyites and collaborators from the German occupation during World War II.
