you blew it. If you don't have the invasion of Cuba there, you probably should add it.

(37,383 posts)Couldn't just say, "Eh, just kidding", pack up the kit and go home.
A decapitation strike or operation to seize and extract Maduro crossed my mind a few times, but I figured there'd be so much security that it would fail spectacularly and predictably, and that somebody would both predict that failure and then prevent it by preventing the attempt.
But no, it didn't fail (unless there's are heaps of American dead that nobody's going to miss).
Now I guess the problem I can't predict my way through is what does the dog do now that it's caught the car? Actually put him on trial? And if the jury fails to convict ... That would prove amusing.

(6,202 posts)Now Trump has a mess on his hands. He removed a country's leader and announced his intent to take their oil, arguably the country's biggest natural resource. What happens to their economy, their infrastructure? Is Don going to move down there and run the country? Or better yet, is he going to install Don Jr has the de facto dictator? I can't believe the people of Venezuela are just going to sit back and watch the Trump family pillage their country. Oh, and what happens when we start having military casualties (assuming we haven't already)?
