Rocker Ted Nugent tore into a list of anti-Trump music-makers during a rambling New Year’s Day rant on right-wing cable network Real America’s Voice.

Starting 2026 hot, the “Cat Scratch Fever” singer, MAGA devotee and Real America’s Voice regular attacked The White Stripes’ frontman Jack White, rapper Eminem, pop-punk pioneers Green Day, and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello with a baffling mix of insults, musical praise, baseless political claims and random guitar riffs.

Jack White and Eminem

Nugent applauded White’s joint performance with Eminem during the Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers, saying he “delivered real rock and roll” that sounded like “real Detroit piss and vinegar.” But barely a breath later, he labeled the fellow Detroit natives “total idiots.”
