I fear the world will band together to stop him. It will affect all of us, and it will not be pretty.

(11,085 posts)I will gladly work to provide intel, quarter and cover to any and all entities engaged in efforts to rid the world of this constant and growing nemesis to peace and democratic governance.
I only wish the effort was being spearheaded from within by our Democratic 'leaders' instead of having to pledge succor to the rest of the world in such a noble cause.

But I do see the possibility of a coalition effort to effectively castrate this administration, whether it is by sending troops to Greenland, selling off hundreds of billions of Treasury bonds crashing the dollar, or some other action that cannot be ignored.

Yesterday in an interview on Meidas Touch, Angus was quite blunt:
Make no mistake, he said. Canada is quietly preparing for war.
This is not going to be a pretty year!
That said, Canada has no choice but to prepare after Trump's bellicose rantings and threats. Miller has declared no one will challenge the US military to defend Greenland.
But a military invasion on Canada? That would be the tipping point.
