Latex masks are getting pretty realistic. The CIA uses them for disguises. If you're worried that ICE might pull you over because they spot a brown person, what if they see a white person instead?

(2,836 posts)You can nearly-always (esp. with public websites) remove all text after the ? in the URL and it still works. That junk is just tracking info to tell the site "where the visitor came from"

In this case you came to Amazon from Amazon:
ref=sr_1_24 You clicked this item from a search results (sr) page where it was result #24 in that list.
keywords=latex+masks+for+adults Your search query on Amazon that produced the results.
qid=1767730354 An internal query ID; lets Amazon tie this click to a specific search session and timestamp.
crid=3COUWYYNGQQKM A customer/request ID for that result set; used to group your impressions/clicks.
sr=8-24 You were on page 8 of the search results and clicked the 24th listing.
dib=... & dib_tag=se Encrypted tracking blob + a tag indicating how the link was built/served (e.g., search experience / experiment bucket).
Not a big deal of course, but if we all hit the site with that link? Amazon is gonna think *you* are REEEEALLY interested in buying a latex mask, and perhaps you'll start seeing a lot of ads for similar products, when you visit other sites even

(20,234 posts)Wearing one of these masks and you were pulled over and asked for your licence. Would things be worse?
I guess there's no rules about wearing a mask but I'm sure unfriendly cops would find something to book you on. Other than that, I think it's a great idea.

(12,501 posts)But would they even think of stopping a white person? You could possibly avoid the whole stupid stop.
