What is the deal with Kushner?

Just saw a picture of him, standing next to Witkoff at a podium, with Steamer, Zelensky, Marcon and Scholz.
Kushner is not a government employee so who's interests is he representing besides his own? It's an embarrassing look. We look like incompetent amateurs.

Kushner is representing the financial interests of himself and the Trump family.

He works out the money details for Trump and makes sure he gets top dollar
and it is all funneled into the Trump Family crime syndicate.

Trump is going to make a fortune on the Venezuela deal.
