He's telling us how Dems, and Bernie can help gum up, slow down Senate procedures regarding bills, amendments, other procedural issues. It might eventually prevent certain things, or at least amend them. Occasionally slowing something down - new events can alter the trajetory.

The fractiousness might get more attention sone of the correct kind, and some people might get angry enough to pay more attention, instead of ignoring it, and call on their Dems to do more of it.

Republicans have already passed their tax cuts for the rich -- which they did through non-filibuster-able reconciliation -- so the only other thing on their agenda is to fill the courts with MAGA acolytes and Democrats have already been doing what they can to slow down that process.

10. That's one of the best descriptions of how to slow the senate and derail TSF's agenda I have ever heard...

First rule...deny every single unanimous consent motion, EVERY SINGLE ONE!

Second rule...make the clerk read the whole bill, and every amendment, ALL OF IT!

Third rule...vote no on adjournment and make everyone stay until there is a consensus...EVERY DAY, AND TWICE ON WEEKENDS !

It IS the power of the minority, use it!

How is it that the Democratic Party is so odious that people would rather have an open fascist, gangster, rapist piece of shit in control than a standard, status quo centrist?

I get that the status quo sucks and all but come on, it’s better than having the goddamn Gambino family running the show.

What’s happening here is even worse than I expected. And I expected it to be horrible.

A real primary in 2016 and one in 2024 maybe this is all prevented. But the Dems were hellbent on getting the first women President and anointed two women, (and let me be clear) two VERY CAPABLE women, BOTH should have been President, however, Democrats underestimated the misogyny of the American voter. I never understood why Biden, if he wanted to be President didn't run in 2016? So Biden, who had been in politics his entire life, ends up as VP and then in 2016 says "naaa" after all that time, then decides 4 years later to come back and go for it? This all smells like political bullshit to me...meanwhile we're now a fascist dictatorship. Well played Dems.
