Most of the right wing folks claiming to be non-interventionist were actually only opposed to the U.S. losing and embarrassing itself. But they are very much on board for the idea of dominance of other people through violence if they think they can pull it off. Theyre also the people who talk about being Christian all the damn time.
And then when our intervention backfires and produces a migration crisis they wonder aloud why these dumb people can’t just pull themselves up by their bootstraps like we do
