like it has mine? I'm 42 years old college educated and I love to read a lot of political articles every week along with watching as many progressives as possible on social media. I always like to analyze everything by every detail bit by bit but I haven't been anxious to do this with the Maduro fiasco. I feel my brain has finally exploded because I just find this situation hard to analyze for me mentally because it really just comes down to us having a dumb crackpot President that decided to jump the shark simply because he needed a super distraction from the Epstein files and his shitty economy.
I love analyzing events politically whether it's good or bad but this situation for me is just tiresome. Does anybody young or old on here feel the same way I do about this situation?

(786 posts)at how desperate Trump is to shift attention away from the Epstein files and his economy that he would even start a possible war to avoid dealing with these 2 issues which shows how dangerously crazy and reckless he has become. I have also voted democrat in every single election since I was 18 along with protesting every negative event in this country since I was 18 from the Iraq War to No King protest and I will continue to do that.
On top of that I was one the few people on my college campus that originally opposed Bush after 9/11. I always proudly say I was part of the 8-10 percent that disapproved of him when 90-92 percent country approved of him. I took the heat from a lot of people when I was in college for bashing him until the Iraq War happened and then the majority of the youth saw how terrible of person he was. That shows you I will always fight until the end when it comes to these tyrants.
When I say my brain is broken because this is one of the most bizarro stupid moves I have ever seen a president make in my lifetime. It seems surreal like something out of a Simpsons cartoon or an episode of Family Guy. I don't think there is any method to his madness with this move other than to distract.

(13,781 posts)alone! This is a sovereign country who has done NOTHING to provoke this kind of treatment. It really pisses me off and it should piss others off too !

Fact is, he's just getting started.

(23,610 posts)I and others predicted increasingly insane acts as the Epstein Event Horizon approached, and we are just about "there yet".
And he obliged. Someone just posted that this was the Jack Smith invasion, but Trump owns the USSC, so I don't think he cares.

But there is worldwide evidence forthcoming on the Trump-Epstein criminal sex, blackmail and money laundering empire that will destroy his blackmail hold on the GOP, the court and many others.
They will be free of his blackmail, and exposed for the scum they are.
Yes, it's the biggest criminal operation in recorded history, and will obliterate the "world odor"
It STARTED with a prince, and will get worse.
One of my many posts on the subject. It accounts for EVERY vile action since Jan 2025.
On edit, forgot the link. It's late already.

Greed? Of course, when exposed fully, he loses everything and so do many others.
Pick any 5.

(42,522 posts)I like to analyze it, too, and like you, Ive found it to be nothing but a damn mess.
All he did was complicate the situation, and for what?
It did show how many people were uninformed about who has what quality of oil. But did we need to kill 80 people to do so?
Now I see a headline about how WSJ is reporting we will import $2 billion of their oil. That just came out tonight.
There is no strategy. Theres nothing but this imbecile flying by the seat of his pants at our expense.

(34,015 posts)It was probably easy to do, so he did it? I was pretty sure, he would not engage in all out war to capture him and he didn't. I thought he was just bullying Venezuela. However, Dump is a bull in a china shop. Actions have consequences. Sure, it seems cool to apprehend someone like Maduro, but there are long-term consequences, just like Iraq. Donnie can't see beyond his approval ratings.
Where will we bomb next? Greenland? Iran?
