Drug prices and medicare co-pays

Well suddenly my scripts have come with co-pays. Many of the drugs that Medicare negotiated for lowers prices are now going up and co-pays are being charged. I was on Entresto but they changed it to the generic a couple of yrs ago with no copays. They say that my Dr must get approval for other meds I take.

That part Joe Biden Inflation Reduction Act apparently is no longer in effect.

Our hometown Rx sold out to Walgreens and let me tell you that place is a zoo......piles of filled scripts overflowing bins and all over the floor. I think I might switch to another small guy thats hanging on. I see he is advertising and has a social media now.

To think we once had several large RX places, Genovese, Rite Aid , all the supermarkets had RX stations . Hanaford's still has a druggist.

The only thing good is Walgreens do give me 3 month supplies.
