Russia sends submarine to stop Donald Trump seizing runaway tanker as major Atlantic clash looms

If there is going to be a WWIII it's going to be started by Trump

Russia has sent a submarine to escort an Iranian-linked sanctioned oil tanker in the Atlantic - sparking fears of a confrontation with the US.

The vessel, once known as the Guyana-flagged, Iranian-linked sanctioned Bella 1 and now renamed the Russian-flagged Marinera, is said to be heading toward its apparent destination in northern Russia, a US official told the Wall Street Journal.

It was also tracked by the US, UK, France and Ireland from the air after it escaped US interception in December.

A US Navy P‑8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft was spotted tracking the vessel as it passed the south of Iceland, before returning to RAF Mildenhall.

But now, a submarine and multiple Russian Navy vessels are on their way to bring it back to Russia, the Wall Street Journal revealed.

I've got some young men in my extended family who are affluent conservative crusaders. That said, I'm afraid if we keep going this way, we're all going to pay the price. But yeah, it's gets to the point where you just gotta say "Fuck it - live your dream assholes."

Do the Russians have something on that ship they don’t want us to see?

But I'd like to know how how a slow-ass oil tanker managed to evade the most powerful navy in the world in its own back lake.

...with the end result being the tanker being released, Maduro being sent to exile to Russia (as is the case with many a deposed leader), and a more openly "flexible" Trump when it comes to matters such as Ukraine.

I'm still not convinced that's not going to be the end result, given Fiona Hill's 2019 testimony.
