I predict Bari Weiss won't last long in her job.

The turmoil she has created reminds me of the turmoil at CNN before Chris Licht was fired. The outright alliance of CBS and the Trump administration in various ways (the newscast salute to Rubio, the appointment of the milquetoast Tony Dokoupil as CBS Evening News anchor who has so far been dreadful, the Erika Kirk town hall, her decision to block the broadcast of the Cecot prison scandal on "60 Minutes&quot are not good indications that she has journalism in high priority at CBS. When the network criticism continues to rise and the ratings begin to fall, I believe there will be a re-evaluation of her appointment, despite the fact billionaire David Ellison wanted her. This whole thing is starting out like Licht's doomed time at CNN did. I think it'll end the same way.

But I fear her purpose of being there is to cause chaos.

hired to be a propagandist, to spread misinformation to enable certain political goals. The people who installed her in that position did so knowing they were sacrificing the former to gain the latter -- so the only thing which will get her fired is failing in the political outcome.

But who is going to fire her? The people she answers to directly who put her in that position to do all these stupid things? The people who purchased CBS with money found in their couch cushions? The people that drove a dump truck full of money ($100 million) up to her house to purchase her complete hack-job “Free Press” site?

I think these fuckers are just about at the point where they don’t care what regular educated informed people think. I think we’re at the place in the show where the curtain comes up and there’s a brick wall behind it – just like Frank Zappa predicted.

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”

I want Bari Weiss to stay long enough that by the time she is done, there is nothing left of CBS News to save. There needs to be consequences for their actions, and destroying CBS News would be a good start.

Within a year, I think these problems will seep into Paramount’s entire platform, wiping out billions of value.

They did some tremendous work in the past. That history needs to be remembered. Whatever Weiss does will not affect that, as far as I'm concerned.
