3. There was definitely another woman

I don't think there was a child. I believe there was a dog in the car.

I've just seen a video shot from the doorstep of the house right next to the driver's side of the car after it crashed. The victim's wife is there, wandering around in shock. One half of her face is covered in blood -- the right half, so if she was in the passenger seat she was likely turned all the way to the left looking at the ICE agent who was trying to open the car door when the shooting occurred. She may have been in the back seat though.

4. Was it the driver or the passenger the one who was shot?

The early reports were confused on that point. It's definitely a woman who was killed, but I don't know if it was the driver. Either way, this whole thing sucks. I believe Kristi Noem should be charged with 1st degree murder.

5. Definitely the driver

The video I just saw showed ICE and/or paramedics removing the woman's body from the driver's side of the car.

9. The video was posted on Facebook and linked here earlier on DU

but it may have since been removed from Facebook. I'll look for the link in a minute.

Edited to add: This was the thread on DU where the video was linked, but I haven't checked to see if the video is still on Facebook:

I took some screenshots. I've blurred the victim's wife's face.

It gives me no pleasure to post these, and I am posting merely for informational purposes.

Where the victim's wife had been sitting:

No officer came and attended to the victim's wife. She was in deep shock and crying. At one point she asked (nobody in particular) if someone could get the dog's leash from the back of the car. Eventually she just wandered off down the street.

Officers removing the body from the driver's side of the car and taking it away down the street:

19. Yeah, not very professional that the wife is left unattended.

She could have fled. She would be a material witness if nothing else.

This goes to the training or lack thereof that these goons have.

7. Legitimate question:

Where was the local police and where was an ambulance?

The video made by the man in the doorway is almost nine minutes long. During that entire time, I did not see any local police presence nor did I ever see an ambulance. Shouldn't there have been enough time for local authorities to come to the scene?

Am I wrong about this? Maybe someone else has noticed more than I did.

Attempt life saving efforts or anything for the victim? They just left her hanging half out the door until the ambulance arrived, is that what happened?

I didn't see an ambulance arrive. In the video by the man in the doorway, it appears ICE agents eventually pick up the woman's body and carry her down the street - perhaps to an ambulance. I couldn't tell. But again, that video is nine minutes long, and was done AFTER the shooting had occurred so enough time had elapsed in my opinion to where help could have been expected to be there.

Again, maybe I'm not seeing something - but that's my perspective.

I've been around law enforcement enough in my life to know that the first thought is: what can we do to cover our asses.

This time, however, there is so much video on personal cell phones, etc., that I don't see how they are going to rationally defend this one. They can claim, they can lie, they can cajole, and they can threaten. But we all saw what we saw.

But I couldn't tell if there was an ambulance further down. You may be right. Let's hope someone was trying to help her!

It did take a long time for them to arrive, and in the mean time it appeared that ICE was preventing access to the vehicle.

We finally have our very own fascist gestapo. If nothing else history will talk about Trump and his gangster empire. You guys are IN the history books. You made it, immortality. They’ll be talking about you 100 years from now in the exact same way we talk about Hitler and his gangster empire today.
