How do we know? Face covered, no name tag or i.d. on uniform. Perhaps, if his pistol was registered, the bullets could be ballistically matched.
But the murderer could be goose-stepping past city hall right now and be unidentifiable.

One thing which occurred to me is that police can only shoot a fleeing suspect if the suspect is suspected of a felony and is clearly fleeing. She was clearly fleeing. But is obstruction of ICE a felony? If the shots were through the side window she wasn't trying to run over the officer, so no felony there. If the shots were through the windshield, it does look like she was trying to run over the officer.

There is a more complete video in the video section and they seems to be focusing on it and got the license plate.

He has distinct eyebrows and haircut. Someone will know him.

badge so they appear more benign. How do they get away with that? It's bad enough that they wear masks and are unnamed on their uniforms and don't have to give any miranda-type warnings when they take people away to wherever.
