I think that that should be proof that she wasn't trying to run over him. An officer can shoot a fleeing suspect only if the suspect has committed a felony. Attempting to run over an officer would be a felony. But if he shot through the side window and wasn't trying to run over him, the charge might be obstruction of ICE. But is that a felony?

1st shot through the windshield, very close to the driver side edge. 2 more through the open side window as the vehicle passed by.

There's video showing that the shooter was clearly to the side of the driver side fender when the first shot was fired. It appears he was not hit by the vehicle at all.

It was murder.

Where the wheel is pointed etc. won’t matter because officers will not be looking at the wheels. Acceleration forward while officers are engaged is where the debate will be. Did the officers believe that the vehicle was being used as a weapon or placed them in a dangerous situation. Looks like a lot of camera angles so they have plenty to use.

She had stopped and backed up to get around the stopped vehicle. As she was pulling around it he shot her. She wasn't aiming at him.

I think the shooter had set up some kind of makeshift checkpoint, or at least focussed on Ms. Good's car for some reason and caused her to stop. The engine was probably running throughout. He stood in front of her car. The other two agents arrived. One was belligerent and frightened her. She backed up to clear the agent in front of her. She went forward at a rightward angle. The agent in front of her then started shooting.

I hope they get police protection to the passenger

Edit -- no passenger. Early reports said passenger and child, then passenger and dog. Turns out there were stuffed animals in the passenger seat. Sorry to mislead and thanks for pointing it out

The other officers would review based on whether there was an imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury to the officers. Car counts as a dangerous weapon same as a gun.

She can testify to Ms. Good's mindset, the exact placement of the gunman, and the unfolding of events. She definitely needs to be taken into protective custody. Noem can't stop that.

the videos I've seen so far shows no remorse or regret, he's a cold blooded killer who should be arrested, charged, prosecuted and convicted for 1st degree murder and sentenced to life in prison at a maximum security state prison, not a Fed. prison where Trumpedo can pardon him.

It's a 3000 lb mass of metal with momentum. A bullet won't stop it. Shooting the driver doesn't usually stop it. Shooting the tires doesn't immediately stop it.

Moral of the story: don't step in front of a moving vehicle.

They ruled that in self defense, even if the guy already has his gun or knife or whatever drawn and pointed at you and is coming at you… you must first try to evade before even drawing a weapon, even in your home. It was the light rail shooting. Wonder how/if this will apply here?

They are giving untrained psychos guns. Here is a good view of shooting. Senator Ed Markey comments:

If you aren't angry, you aren't paying attention. A woman was murdered by ICE in Minneapolis today. This should outrage us all. ICE out of our cities now.
