Is it civil war yet?

It ought to be.
We have an illegitimate federal government that has declared war on states it doesn't like.
We have a mad felonious despot in charge who says his "morality" is the only law.
We have a congress that is dead and inactive.
We have a SCOTUS is the bag for fascists.
And we have a Fox lie machine that has surpassed anything Goebbels came up with.

What's next, America?

as in the first one. This time it's the federal government against the states, or at least those that are pushing back against federal overreach. The Trump regime, completely abandoning the principles of federalism, seems to view those states as hostile foreign nations to be conquered and occupied. I'm living in one of them right now, and the ICE presence feels almost like an occupation. They're everywhere and many people are afraid to go anywhere. The city actually had to close the public schools (one of which was actually invaded by ICE) for the safety of students and staff, and some businesses closed early or never opened, for the protection of their employees. If that's not an occupation I don't know what else to call it.
