ALREADY SICK OF "The SKY is falling for REPUBLICANS in the MIDTERMS, they are DOOMED, OH NO" clickbait headlines.

It's fucking FEBRUARY. All KINDS of things can happen between now and November but NOTHING absolves ANY of us from being FOCUSED and DETERMINED to VOTE in NOVEMBER.

These clickbait bullshit "OH NO, REPUBLICANS ARE TRULY FUCKED NOW" headlines make people sit back and say "WELL...if the MAINSTREAM MEDIA is telling me REPUBLICANS ARE FUCKED, they MUST be right, so I don't need to vote. I'll just stay home and watch the BLUE TSUNAMI on my TV, in the comfort of my own home."

I want REPUBLICANS to be FUCKED as much as anyone, but I plan to be the one doing the fucking, when I VOTE IN NOVEMBER.

No matter what polls or pundits say; no matter what historical trends indicate; this is one of the most important elections of our time. If we want it to happen, we need to MAKE it happen.

If it's in all-caps and promises some apocalyptic event I can be sure it's a waste of time and exists only to get clicks and ad revenue. Please, people, stop posting those ridiculous videos, some of which are AI fakes of well-known people, and the rest are by pontificating videocasters who spend 20 minutes bloviating about the link they are about to show you which never delivers on the bloviator's promise.

Democratic control of the House isn’t guaranteed.

After the 2024 disaster, given the fear, ignorance, and stupidity of the voters, predictions are pointless.

Republicans rely a lot on propaganda to help them win elections and you bet there will be plenty of that on Fox News, Sinclair, OAN, etc. from now until November. Musk himself will spend millions to help Republicans inflict more damage on the marginalized and poor in this country. Gerrymandered districts and voter suppression (voter ID laws, taking away early voting, etc.) all will have an effect. Also they are trying to make Americans more ignorant with their book bans and their attacks on "woke", and ignorant people are more easily swayed to their side. Republicans don't sweat because they know they have all of these things working in their favor.

Even if Democrats win they know our victory is only temporary and the way that Congress is set up we won't be able to accomplish much due to their fierce opposition to anything that would move this country closer to what they have in Scandinavian countries.

...as opposed to the chicken little approach that so many are fond of.

Brace yourself for more:

Jim Messina @Messina2012
Dems flipped 25 state leg. seats last year and the GOP flipped none. Dems now at 26 flips after TX & GOP still zero.

Yes, voters are turning on Trump's chaos, but bigger lesson is Dems win when we give people something to vote for (lower costs, good jobs) and compete EVERYWHERE.

Health care, costs, & the economy are voters' top issues.

BAD #s for Trump & GOP⬇️

▪️Trump: 37% job approval (lowest of 2nd term); net approval on economy: -20!
▪️Democrats viewed as better on health care (+21), affordability (+14), & taxes (+1)--first lead on taxes since '06!
