Trump Is Losing Low Information Voters
February 12, 2026 at 8:30 am EST By Taegan Goddard

G. Elliot Morris: “In 2024, the voters who knew the least about politics were some of Donald Trump’s strongest supporters. One pre-election poll found Americans who didn’t consume any news at all said they’d vote for him over Kamala Harris by a 20-point margin, 60% to 40%.”

“Today, the president’s support among low-knowledge voters has cratered to just 43%, according to a new analysis of data from our January Strength In Numbers/Verasight poll. The share of 2024 voters who now disapprove of the president is well over 55%.”

“According to our poll, low-knowledge voters backed Trump by a net margin of 11 points in 2024. Now, however, the same low-knowledge voters say they disapprove of the president by 13 points — a 25-point shift away from the president.

Democrats tend to use too many multi syllable words, mostly to show how educated they are, and how dumb these people are. You can’t get support that way. You alienate people. This is a criticism that is valid. Sometimes we should simplify what we say so even a less educated person can get it. Look at Jasmine Crocket, she doesn’t do that, she tries to relate to people, and she gets her message across. This is what we need. Simplicity in our communication.

They don’t set policy nor do they run presidential campaigns. Just an FYI.

By Trump’s own flood of the space. He doesn’t wear well.

Frankly, this is probably what the low info brows resent most. They choose to be low information and to live in their own castles in the sky.

I hadn't thought about this. Trump just occupies every aspect of the space, and even for his folks, it is becoming a little much. Come on guys, did we really need a counter-Superbowl halftime?

They consider themselves to be better and above the partisans. But mostly they just don't read much and go by how they feel at the time they vote.

I hate saying this, but some people have to learn about grifters, liars, and crooks the hard way. It was a great tragedy for our Republic that we weren’t able to reach these people in 2024 but it appears that more of these people have been inspired to change their minds about Orange Julius, his party, and their policies.

I hope it’s not too late for constitutional rule.

Wandering through the political landscape like blindfolded tourists in a minefield. Will they finally stumble upon the revelation that their chosen champion might not be the heroic figure they imagined? One can only hope these political sleepwalkers accidentally trip over the truth, casting off their allegiance with the same casual indifference they once embraced it. And should the tangerine-tinted titan of turbulence face a moment of electoral abandonment, well, I'll be here with popcorn, watching the political theater unfold with gleeful anticipation.

of theirs. Therefore, whatever else he does really doesn't matter to them. I am in contact with one of these individuals who works with me on my art projects. We just don't talk about Trump's insanity. This individual has a form of dyskenesia and probably takes medications to control the jerking movements of his head and upper body. Once he can't afford that medication because of Trump's policies, he'll be screwed. I am patiently waiting for that to happen. I will be sad for him but, as the saying goes, "I TOLD YOU SO."

Coffee (8 O'Clock whole bean/large size) went from $12 under Biden to $17 under Trump and now $20.

No hyperbole to say coffee fuels American work culture and affects almost everyone.

Certainly got an F' this nonsense out of me and a scramble to find a different source of coffee.

One question immediately arises: is there any change in the number of voters labelled "low-information?"

Setting that aside for the nonce, what are we to conclude? That the little information the "low-information" voter has (since he must have some, or he would be "no-information," not "low-information" ) is being polluted by the facts of what the current Administration is up to? I mean, what's changed in the "information" they're receiving?

That is free on Tubi. It really explains how his supporters think and worship him. I’d recommend it. Everyone person I know who supports the 🍊🐖💩 describes lousy childhoods and blames other for their failures in life. The 🍊🐖💩 knows how to manipulate them.
