President Donald Trump is reportedly considering declaring a national emergency due to supposed widespread foreign interference in the 2020 election, which he would then use as a pretense to seize voting power from the states.

There is no evidence of such widespread interference, and a seizing electoral power from the states would represent an unprecedented abuse of power.

A 17-page draft executive order authored by pro-Trump activists that was reviewed by The Washington Post would blame China for Trump's 2020 presidential election loss. It would reportedly allow the president to ban mail-in ballots and voting machines, which Trump has falsely blamed for being vectors of fraudulent votes.

Last month, a lawyer who represented Trump in his 2020 election-denial lawsuits from Fulton County, Georgia, where Trump had contested the results even though investigations turned up no fraud.

All of his executive orders regarding elections have been ignored by the states, and this one would be no different.

Did you know he’s already “banned” Mail in voting? Of course not, because the states have ignored him and continue to hold their elections as they always do.

This is nothing but fear mongering by the media/trolling by the Trump administration.
