RFKjr advice to broke Americans..less porterhouse steaks, more liver

“There’s a lot of good food in grocery stores that goes to waste. Most of the cheap cuts of meat are very inexpensive. If you buy a porterhouse steak … it is gonna set you back,” the secretary said as he gave the keynote address at the “Eat Real Food” rally in Austin, Texas, on Thursday. “You can buy liver, or the cheaper cuts of steak that are very very affordable.”

Well I’ve come here to tell you folks I’m ragged but I’m right
I’m a tramp and a gambler I stay out late at night
But a porterhouse steak three times a day for my board
That’s more than any loafer in this big town can afford

Well I got an electric fan to keep me cool while I sleep
A little baby boy playing around at my feet
I’m a rambler and a gambler and I’ve lead a dirty life
Well I tell you folks
I’m ragged but I’m right

Well then I got married I knew I’d settle down
And I built a little love nest right here in my hometown
Now I’ve got a family one that I’m proud of
I know that we’ll be happy because they’re the ones I love
Got a big electric fan to keep me cool while I sleep
I tell you folks I’m ragged but I’m right

I’m a rambler and a gambler I’ve lead a dirty life
Well I tell you folks I’m ragged but I’m right

He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth to a very wealthy family. He never had to worry about what was "affordable" a day in his life.

If I may be so bold: "shut up, piggy."

I don’t think he’s been shopping in a while. All cuts of beef are expensive now. And I don’t think most people can tolerate the thought of eating liver.

In the early 1980s Fort Drum, NY, was used only as a training base. The reserve and National Guard units in the area would go there in summer, and in the winter active duty troops would do winter training. My unit in the 101st got picked to do winter training, so...first they issued us a massive amount of cold weather gear, then they gave us a class on how not to get third-degree frostbite, and then we flew to Griffiss Air Force Base 60 miles away from base to begin our winter adventure.

There was a base regulation that every unit had to serve liver at least once during the training cycle.

On liver night, NO ONE went to the mess hall. No one. Not even the colonel running the exercise ate there, and he ate every meal there. We went to the PX snack bar and bought the worst pizza ever made.

I must say my dogs go insane over chicken livers.

- I will only eat organic chicken livers - but agree very tasty breaded in an air fryer.

Cows liver I’m not into but I used to watch my mother devour liver like it was a good steak.

But I live in ranch land. Give me some beef and my own organic chicken eggs over any vegetable.

Different strokes for different folks.

Problem with going vegan now, is so much glyphosate is sprayed on our food supply. I almost don’t want to eat a vegetable unless I grow it so I grow mini tomatoes and greens in my south windows.

beef and chicken, although I don't eat it very often. And I rarely eat beef, including ground beef.

But FUCK brainworm and every smug, entitled asshole multimillionaire in that corrupt, obscene regime telling us peasants how to economize in the economy THEY created. A "piece" of broccoli? Those arrogant, out-of-touch-with-reality scum make me sick, in every sense of the word.

I am reminded of an article that I read years ago about saving money at the grocery store. All of it was out-of-touch BS, but one suggestion really just cracked me up for its complete and utter clueless stupidity. Shaking the water off the lettuce. Because that will really reduce your grocery bill. And, of course, one could purchase a collection of such incredibly helpful tips for mere $10. I had a few words with that idiot.

I would like to have a few words with the current idiots, but most of them would get me in trouble.

May they all receive everything they deserve.

Liver? I don't mind liver once in a while, but it's not my alternative to a steak. I don't eat beef hardly ever. There are plenty of less expensive meats available. Maybe RFK, Jr. doesn't know about that.
